Support

Thank you for your desire to support Loudonville Christian School; it’s difficult to imagine what LCS would be without the generous financial contributions of so many who believe in our Mission.

LCS is a not-for-profit corporation, chartered by the Board of Regents of the State of New York as an educational institution and accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. Our high school is registered with the New York State Education Department. Loudonville Christian School is an auxiliary ministry of Loudonville Community Church.

Now you have the opportunity to join those who have come before and support LCS. Whether you volunteer, give a financial gift or support our school through the many other giving opportunities, you are making an impact on the lives of students-today and tomorrow.

Gifts may be made in memory or in honor of a friend, loved one, teacher, birthday, graduation, etc. Please indicate the name of the person being honored and let us know who should receive notification of the gift.

Whatever the size of your gift to LCS, you will be investing in the next generation, and helping to ensure that we can continue to enrich lives and enhance the experience of LCS students.

If you have any additional questions, please contact Debbie Fox, Executive Business Administrator at dfox@lcs.org or 434-6051 ext. 303.

God really shined his light on me through the wonderful blessing of an anonymous donor and because of that gift, God ultimately saved a young teen’s life. I thank God everyday for this school and for the people in it but mostly for the donor who blessed my life by putting me here through God’s will.

Areas of Giving

Annual Fund

The Loudonville Christian School Annual Fund touches the lives of every student at LCS as we seek to IMPACT, TRANSFORM AND REACH OUT GLOBALLY.

Tuition at LCS covers 90% of the LCS operating costs. Your contribution to the Annual Fund will help bridge the gap between educational costs per child and the reduced tuition that parents pay per child. In addition to keeping all families’ tuition as low as possible, the Annual Fund helps support the financial aid program.

By donating to the Annual Fund you won’t just help us pay the bills and meet our financial obligations. Your contribution will support our efforts to enable families with limited resources to attend LCS; enrich the learning experience and environment; enhance each student’s discovery and exploration of his gifts; and empower students to use their God-given gifts and potential for His glory!

MDMFTA

On January 8, 2008, the Loudonville Christian School community lost a special friend with the passing of Mike Davis. Mike became an integral part of the school when his daughter Katie entered here in 1996. He soon became one of the “faces of the school” as each day he greeted the students with a smile and a high five as they entered the building. For the very young children, Mike’s personality had a calming effect to those nervous about starting school. He made them feel welcome before they walked into the building.

The Mike Davis Memorial Fund for Tuition Assistance (MDMFTA) was established to honor the passion shown by Mike for the mission of the school and the lives of the individual students. It is our goal to provide A.C.C.E.S.S. (Accessible Christ Centered Education Serving the Spirit) to our community.

The objective of the MDMFTA is to provide tuition assistance to Christian parents whose desire is for their children to receive an education committed to high scholastic standards and an evangelical view of God and the world, but who are facing tough economic challenges. The need for tuition assistance continues to be an ongoing prayer concern for many of our current and potential families.

Endowment Fund

Helping children receive a “God-centered education of high, academic quality.” *

In 1970, Dr. David Price saw the wisdom of establishing an Endowment Fund to provide long-term financial support for Loudonville Christian School. When his parents sold the Fisher-Price Toy Company to the Quaker Oats Company, he donated “seed money” to begin the Loudonville Christian School Endowment Fund. Since that time, generous friends have increased the fund by memorial gifts, bequests, and contributions.

The endowment fund supports the Financial aid budget and helps to meet the needs of the school from interest and dividends earned. Our current restricted endowment fund consists of several scholarship lines established in honor of or in memory of special friends of Loudonville Christian School. Samples of the lines currently available to donate are:

  • The Robert & Estelle Siemens Scholarship
  • The John & Doris Essepian Scholarship

Please indicate which scholarship you are donating to when making your donation.
